Helps to prevent electrolytic corrosion in all pools. Use to shunt stray voltage in pool water to ground. Helps prevent electrolysis and galvanic corrosion in all pools. A must for use in pools with salt generation systems. Screws into a 1″ female thread fitting in the plumbing lines. Use with PVC Reducer 438-211 1.5″ x 1″ fpt or 438-249 2″x1″ Reducer 2008 NEC Electrical Code Section 680.26(c) requires a intentional water bond in all pools, spas and fountains, All pools should also use a Zinc Sacrificial Anode in the pool water.
